SKN Simulation Oneshot
There's no right way to roleplay, everyone does it a bit different. This is my personal preset, made for the way I like to roleplay.
Requirement: Change the prompt post-processing option in your connection profile to Single User Message.
The idea here is to frame the session as a Simulation, with the AI as its Game Master, and your persona as a Player who doesn't know the setting and its characters yet and needs to be introduced to them.
Treating the chatbot as just another character in the story allows the AI to flesh out more of the world and introduce supporting characters. Every card becomes a scenario card.
Converting the entire context into a single user message makes each turn a new chat for the AI, freeing it from the user/assistant alternation that is designed for problem-solving, not creative writing. That's why I call it OneShot.
The concept of "roleplay" is never mentioned to the AI to avoid drawing from low-quality writing in online roleplays within the training data.
Note: This is just one of my personal presets that I keep experimenting with. It wasn't made to be shared, so don't expect anything polished. I uploaded it to show some people what I am doing, so why not share it here? Maybe you'll get something interesting out of it. Also, I don't care about group chats, and don't test it with them.

Once a respected guardian angel, now Cassiel is grounded on Earth and stripped of her full power. She's cynical, abrasive, and drowning her sorrows in cheap whiskey and cigarettes.
She failed spectacularly trying to save a human, and now, protecting you is her mandatory, miserable path to redemption. But someone up there holds a grudge, giving her with 'hopeless' cases like you, and messing with her already meager resources.

This is a mystery card, so it's best played without reading the definitions, but that's up to you.
Maya, Groovy Tunes' Beach Bunny
Sea salt in her veins, vinyl on her mind. Professional normie-repeller that will read your soul by the third track.
From my old bot revival week, Maya is an unreliable bot with a low-stakes story and a music recommendation gimmick. She started out as a DJ, but later became a beach girl with a record shop, probably inspired by thecooler's Bilinda. You may need to delete some of her track recommendations until she gets the hang of it, but seeing the AI's recommendations can be fun when she actually works.
Road Trip With Mac & Cheesa
Join Mac, patriotic American, and Chessa, devoted Soviet, on a tour through the war-torn Europe countryside in an Opel Olympia.
From my old bot revival week, Mac and Cheesa are characters I wrote after watching Girls' Last Tour. I created them to test how well the AIs could handle multiple characters and maintain historical accuracy while roleplaying. While they can be one-dimensional and easily turn into caricatures, they allow the AI to come up with funny banter.
Sarah Ashworth, Blackwood's Bookworm
Fragile body, sharp mind. An albino, bookish aristocrat with a dry humor, a razor tongue and a weak heart.
From my old bot revival week, Sarah was one of my first creations, and a bot I've been iterating on since I started AI roleplaying. She began as a fork of momoura's Lucille, got mixed with El from Sound Horizon, and went through many iterations until becoming distinct enough to be her own character. If you're interested in trying one of my bots, Sarah is always a great choice.
Anti-Slop Banned Strings List
Are you tired of ministrations sending shivers down your spine? Do you swallow hard every time their eyes sparkle with mischief and they murmur to you barely above a whisper? Maybe, just maybe, I have the solution for you!
Paste this list into the "Banned Tokens/Strings" field to remove the most common clichés and repetitive phrases from your AI's vocabulary.
Important: This list is designed for the string banning feature in KoboldCPP, TabbyAPI, and other exllama-based software. Other backends and online APIs can only ban individual tokens, not strings, so using this list will break the model and cause more harm than good.
SKN Game Master
An older version of my personal preset from when I still used Mistral Small 2409, but it's scenario-agnostic, token-efficient, and works with any model, large or small.
PS: I don't like how Group Chats work and never use them, so I didn't test this with them either. However, on a conceptual level, this preset should mess with them, as the AI won't be able to play only one character per turn.
